Elections
Elections in the City of Edgeley are held in even numbered years in conjunction with the June primary elections. Mayor, City Council, and Park Board positions are all 4-year terms with no term limits. Approximately half of the positions will be up for election each cycle.
2026 Election Information
Notice is hereby given that the deadline for filing to have a candidate's name printed on the ballot for the City of Edgeley is April 6, 2026, at 4:00 pm. The following city and park board offices are up for election:
Mayor – four-year term
Three (3) City Council Members - four-year terms
Two (2) Park Board Members - four-year terms
Two (2) Park Board Member – Unexpired two-year term
A candidate for a city or park board office must turn in a completed SFN 02074 Petition/Certification of Nomination and a completed SFN 10172 Statement of Interest to the City Auditor by the above deadline date and time. All forms are available from either the City Auditor located at 519 Main St or can be obtained online.
