Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church
Zion Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. We desire that all people would be saved and so we encourage the making and growing of disciples of Jesus Christ through His Word and the Sacraments.
Zion offers worship services, Bible classes and other opportunities for service.

Bible Class:

Confirmation instruction for students in grades 7 & 8 meets on Wednesday during the school year. This instruction time offers the children a further opportunity to learn what the church believes and teaches as well as helps them to build a deep relationship with their God.
The Ladies group (LWML) meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month in the social hall at 2 p.m. During the winter they get to piece and tie quilts in the social hall at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesdays. These quilts are given to various organizations to be distributed to those in need.
Members have the opportunity to be active in various things such as:

Choir

Dinner Theatre: using the talents of members to put on small plays.

The Orphan Grain Train: which provides resources to those who are less fortunate.

Petal Pushers: helping with the decorating of the Lutheran Hour float for the Rose Day Parade.

Servant Events: going to various locations doing what needs to be done such as helping to fix homes, provide labor.
