City Workers

The city of Edgeley currently has two city crew members that wear several hats.  Glen Fischer is in charge of the water system and works with the park district in the summer maintaining the park grounds and pool.  Other jobs he does include maintaining buildings, street maintenance, snow removal, sewer line maintenance, and various jobs required to maintain the city.  Ron Wald is in charge of the Streets and also the Sewer system.  He also is required to handle many duties, including maintenance on equipment, snow removal, cleaning streets, water and sewer maintenance, street maintenance, and various jobs required to maintain the city.  They both also handle the inert landfill, so if you have items that need to go to the landfill please contact city hall at 493-2208 and arrangements will be made to assist all residents with disposal of items that do not consitute regular garbage or recycling.
